I am a junior consultant and I want to become an enterprise architect or solution architect as a career. Every day I want to learn about it. There are software tools for EA and there is a framework called TOGAF and a modeling language called ArchiMate. I want to get a better understanding of what is an enterprise architecture.

Enterprise Architecture is present in every organization. It is the set of concepts applied to the organization. The better these concepts answer the challenges from the strategy and the business model, the better the organization will be able to execute the strategy.
