Work Package Definition

What does Work Package mean?

More and more projects are run with enterprise architecture. So new terms of project management and risk management enter the field of EA. Work Package is one of those terms.

Definition

A Work Package is a subset of a project that can be assigned for separate execution.

Usage

To make projects less risky.

Symbol

The symbol for a Work Package is a shovel.

Examples

Examples of Work Packages are:

  • Create a design
  • Build a system
  • Test a system
