S2E Consulting Inc. is an established consulting practice accelerating successful business transformations—with a focus on Fortune 500 companies. Metanoia Global Inc. helps social entrepreneurs start, scale and sustain successful businesses. I am also a Co-Founder of Business Architecture Associates, Inc. which provides business architecture training, and I serve as a Senior Consultant for Cutter Consortium as well.
Business architecture, a maturing discipline which I have helped to shape, is foundational to the strategic, big picture approach my companies take to growing and transforming organizations. I am a long-time business architecture practitioner, former Business Architecture Practice Director of one of the largest business architecture consulting practices, and was a key player in one of the largest business architecture-led transformations in the world. I am a recognized thought leader in business architecture, speaking and writing regularly, as well as building community. I am also a Co-Founder, Board Member and Editorial Board Chair of the Business Architecture Guild. Based on this experience, my area of expertise is building and maturing business architecture practices as well as applying it to achieve real business results.
My greatest passion is leveraging business as a mechanism for social and environmental change. I believe that by enabling social entrepreneurs (and non-profits) to scale, move big ideas into action and operate efficiently, we not only help them to achieve their missions, but when they do, it creates systematic change and the world benefits. Through my work with Metanoia, pro bono efforts and the non-profit boards that I participate in, I have the pleasure and honor of seeing first-hand how business can focus on purpose as well as profit, and how enterprise can be a solution to poverty.
