How to Create an Atlas Page

In the video titled 'Get Started – Step 4: Create Atlas Page', you are guided through the process of creating an Atlas Page within the Dragon1 platform. An Atlas Page is a navigable element within an Atlas, linking to specific visualizations or acting as a folder to organize content hierarchically.

Steps to Create an Atlas Page:

  1. Access the Viewer: Log in to Dragon1 and navigate to the Viewer application.
  2. Select an Atlas: Choose the Atlas to which you want to add a page.
  3. Enter Edit Mode: Click the 'Edit' button to enable editing of the Atlas structure.
  4. Add a Page: In the page tree menu, select the position where you want to add the new page, then click the 'Add Page' button.
  5. Configure the Page: Enter a name for the page. Specify the type as 'visualization' to link to a specific visualization, or 'folder' to create a grouping of pages. Optionally, set a weight to determine the page's order in the hierarchy.
  6. Link a Visualization: If creating a visualization page, enter the Visualization ID Reference to associate the page with a specific visualization.
  7. Save and View: Click 'OK' to save the page. The new Atlas Page will now appear in the page tree menu and be accessible to users navigating the Atlas.

By following these steps, you can effectively add and organize Atlas Pages within Dragon1, enhancing the structure and navigability of your architectural visualizations.
