What is an Edition?

An edition indicates the purposes for which the software can be used and the functionality and performance of the software that is made available to users.

Currently there are two editions available for Dragon1 Enterprise Architecture Toolbox:

Business Edition
This edition may only be used internally (non-commercial) in the organization. Standard in this edition is the option to create three enterprise architecture dossiers for three different organizations. Upgrades to more organizations in the Business Edition are available.

Consultancy Edition
This edition can be used both internally and externally (commercial). Standard in this edition is the option to create three enterprise architecture dossiers for three different client organizations. Upgrades for more client organizations in the Consultancy Edition are available.

What is a License?

A license indicates what, how and how often the software can be installed and how many concurrent users can use the software.

Currently there are two types of licenses available:

Web application License
A web application license indicates which web applications can and cannot be installed. For every web application a separate license is needed.

User License
A user license indicates how many concurrent users can use the software. For example everyone within a project.

What is an update subscription?

An update subscription guarantees for one or three years, that you as a customer are able to use all the new updates of the various web applications, without purchasing a new user license each year of Dragon1 EA Toolbox.
